S.I.D. -Spark Indicator Device

This device is a handheld Magneto spark / output Indicator. The device can essentially allow a mechanic to test a magneto without having to bring the magneto to a shop for testing. This will save hours of time & money because the magneto can be tested for output while still on the engine. If the magneto must be removed, the device can be used to bench test the magneto without taking the magneto to a shop. Spark gap is set to 5 mm to match magneto manual specs. The device can be used as a diagnostic tool with or without removing the magneto from the engine.

The device can also be used on the newer electronic magnetos.
